This is a common-rail fuel injector built for the Detroit Diesel DD15 and DD16. Bosch builds these for Detroit, which is why you'll see the Bosch F00710S268 number floating around next to the Detroit part numbers — same injector, different label depending on who boxed it.
Fits Freightliner Cascadia and Western Star trucks spec'd with the DD15 or DD16. These engines went through a few running changes over the years, so don't assume every DD15 takes the same injector — pull the old one and check the number stamped on the body before you order.

Then you've got the 4720701187 series (RA4720701187, A4720701187, EA4720701187) — that's a superseded number. Detroit updated the part number at some point but the injector itself interchanges. Bosch's F00710S268 is the injector maker's own number for the same unit, and Alliance's R01 RA4600701387 is just their reman branding on the identical injector.
Bottom line — these all cross to the same physical part. Where guys get burned is assuming every DD15/DD16 injector is interchangeable across model years. It's not.
