An 8" hose that's actually 7.5" won't seat right on the pipe stubs, and a thinner-wall knockoff can bulge or blow under boost on a hot pull. Measure your old hose end to end before you order, don't eyeball it off the truck.
Also check your clamp style. This one ships with T-bolt clamps for a reason - CAC pressure and heat cycling will walk a worm-gear clamp loose over time. If your old setup had T-bolts, keep it that way.
