What this hose actually does
This is the hot-side CAC hose - it takes boost straight off the turbo outlet before it goes through the charge air cooler to get cooled down. That means it's dealing with higher temps than the cold-side hoses, which is why it's silicone instead of just rubber. Silicone handles the heat cycling without turning brittle in a year.
3.5" ID, 6" length, straight - no elbow, no reducer. It's a coupler piece, so it's riding on two clamps, one on each end. Simple part, but if it fails you're blowing boost pressure out the side of the engine instead of into the intake, and you'll know it from the power loss and the whistling.
Fits a range of International/Navistar trucks that use this size hot-side coupler in the CAC plumbing. Given how many chassis and engine combos Navistar ran over the years, don't assume - pull the old hose and check the ID and length against what you've got before you order.
Why these numbers cross
6805010082 is the Navistar part number, and 3540332C1 / 3541592C1 are prior or superseded Navistar numbers for functionally the same hose. Navistar re-numbers parts over the years for internal reasons - supplier changes, spec updates - but the physical hose stays the same 3.5" x 6" straight silicone piece. F02479S352 is the supplier's own part number for this aftermarket hose.
The reason these all cross is dimension and application, not because someone slapped a sticker on a different part. Silicone hose is silicone hose - what matters is inside diameter, wall thickness, length, and whether it's a straight or has a bend built in. This one's straight, no reducer step, no built-in elbow.
Surest way to confirm you're getting the right one: measure your old hose's ID with a tape measure at the bead, measure the length end to end, and check if it's straight or has any bend to it. If it matches 3.5" x 6" straight, you're good. If your old hose has a curve or a step-down in diameter, this isn't your part - call us with your VIN and we'll figure out the right one.
Ordering from PartStop
We keep this stocked here in Tacoma, so if you're a local fleet or owner-op and need it same day, it's usually sitting on the shelf - call ahead and we'll have it at the counter. Ship nationwide too if you're not local, and it goes out fast since it's not a huge or oddly-shaped part.
This carries our standard 6+ month warranty. Silicone hoses don't have a lot of moving parts to fail, but if something's off with the material or it doesn't hold up, we'll take care of it.
One thing worth doing before you order: pull the old hose off and read whatever numbers are stamped or molded into it, or check your VIN against the CAC hose listing. Saves everybody a return shipment if the hose that comes off your truck turns out to be a different size than what you expected.

Frequently asked questions
Does 6805010082 fit my International truck?
Depends on the chassis and engine setup - Navistar used a lot of different CAC hose configurations over the years. Confirm by measuring your old hose (3.5" ID, 6" length, straight) or give us your VIN and we'll cross-check it against this part number.
Is this the same as the 3540332C1 hose?
Same physical hose - 3540332C1 is an earlier Navistar part number that's since been superseded to 6805010082. Dimensions and application are identical, it's just a numbering update on Navistar's end.
How do I know if it's the hot side or cold side hose I need?
Hot side is between the turbo and the charge air cooler - it'll be the hotter, often more brittle-looking hose closer to the turbo. Cold side runs from the cooler to the intake manifold. If you're not sure, trace the hose or send us a picture and we'll point you the right way.
