Where guys get burned is assuming '1033' and '1074' are automatically interchangeable across all years just because the base number is close. They're not always. Check the mounting bracket holes and the trim line where it meets the sleeper skin — if those don't line up you'll be drilling new holes or shimming, and that's not what you want on a body panel that's supposed to shed water.
Surest way to confirm: pull the number stamped or tagged on your old extender, or run the full VIN. Sheet metal like this is one of those parts where 'close enough' costs you a second panel and a Saturday.
