This is a driver-side (LH) S-camshaft built for Meritor Q Plus trailer brakes, 20.44" length, 10 spline on the actuator end. It's the shaft inside the brake chamber assembly that rotates when the pushrod moves, forcing the shoes outward against the drum.
Length and spline count matter here — 20.44" isn't a universal size, and 10 spline vs 12 spline won't interchange. This one's spec'd to bolt into the Q Plus foundation brake setup, not the older Q or newer Q+ variants that sometimes use different cam geometry.
Left-hand matters too. S-cams are handed — put a right-hand cam on the left side and the brake either won't self-adjust right or won't clear the slack adjuster properly. Check which side you're pulling before you order.
