This is the driver's side (left-hand) projector-style LED headlight assembly built for the redesigned VNL that came out in 2018 and runs through the 2023 model year. Volvo changed the headlight design and mounting when they refreshed the VNL, so this housing does not interchange with the older 2004-2017 VNL style — different shape, different connector, different mounting points entirely.
Inside you've got the LED low/high beam projectors plus daytime running light in one sealed unit. It's a direct replacement for the factory 23680018 housing, built to bolt into the same mounting holes and plug into the same harness connector as what Volvo put on there originally.
Passenger side is a different part number, so don't grab this one thinking it covers both sides — driver and passenger housings are mirrored and not interchangeable.
