What You're Actually Buying
This is a full kingpin kit for a Dana/Spicer front steering axle - the kingpin itself, bushings, thrust bearing, seals, and the hardware to put a steering knuckle back together tight. It's not just a pin, it's the whole rebuild set for that spindle.
Fits International/Navistar I-100W trucks from 1990 up through current production, which is a long run - Navistar didn't change this front axle setup much over the years, which is why one kit covers so many model years.
Bore size, pin diameter, and bushing length all have to match your knuckle casting. If your truck's outside that range or someone's swapped axles at some point, don't assume - check the numbers stamped on the axle or knuckle against what you're ordering.
Why All These Numbers Point to the Same Kit
460.512C and 80077B are older Spicer/Dana part numbers that got folded into R201427 when Dana consolidated their kingpin kit line. 01R201427E is just the extended Navistar service number for the same kit - dealers use the longer number, everybody else uses R201427.
1668-412-C and 1668412C91 are International's own parts numbering for this kit, same part, different catalog. When a truck's been through a few axle rebuilds or the shop before you used whatever brand was on the shelf, you'll see all of these on old invoices for the same physical kit.
The one thing that trips people up: bushing wall thickness. Some knuckles get line-bored oversize after repeated pin failures, and if that's happened to your truck, a standard kit won't seat right. Pull the old pin and bushings and measure before you order if you've got any doubt.
Ordering From PartStop
We're in Tacoma and keep this kit in stock for same-day pickup or will-call. If you're a fleet running I-100Ws through here, this is one of the numbers we move regularly, so we're not waiting on a distributor to ship it in.
Outside the Tacoma area we ship nationwide, and R201427 typically goes out the same day if you order before early afternoon. It's a heavy kit so factor in freight time if you're on a deadline for a truck that's down.
Comes with our standard 6+ month warranty. If you're not sure this is your kit, call us with the VIN or read us the numbers off your old kingpins - we'll confirm before you spend the money, not after.
R201427 Cross-Reference & Interchange Numbers
These manufacturer and aftermarket numbers commonly cross-reference to R201427. Use them to identify the part — then confirm the exact fit by VIN or the number stamped on your old unit before you order. An interchange is a starting point, not a fitment guarantee.

Frequently asked questions
Does R201427 fit my 2015 International I-100W?
Likely yes - this kit covers I-100W trucks from 1990 up through current builds on the Dana Eaton front axle. But confirm by checking the numbers stamped on your knuckle or axle housing against our cross-reference, since axle swaps happen and you want to match the actual hardware on the truck, not just the model year.
Is this the same as the Dana 460.512C kit?
Yes, 460.512C is the older Dana/Spicer number for this same kingpin kit - it got superseded to R201427 when Dana updated their numbering. Same parts, same fitment, just a different catalog era.
My old kingpins are worn out but I don't see a part number on them - how do I know this is the right kit?
Pull the axle tag or check the knuckle casting for a Dana or International part number, or measure your pin diameter and bushing bore. If you're not confident reading it off the truck, bring the old kingpin by the counter or send us a photo and the VIN - that's usually faster than guessing.
Not sure it fits? We check before you pay.
Run your VIN and we’ll match parts to your exact truck, or call the counter — a person who knows trucks verifies fitment by OEM number before the order ships. No wrong-box returns.
