MFS12 uses a double draw key setup, not a single taper pin, so don't grab a kit built for MFS13 or MFS14 and expect it to work. Different axle, different pin diameter, different draw key arrangement.
On a Cascadia this axle sits under trucks from 2008 clear through current model years, but Freightliner didn't freeze the spec that whole time. Axle capacity changed, knuckle castings changed a little, and Meritor updated bushing tolerances more than once. The R201615 number is Meritor's kit number for the MFS12 as currently specified — it's not automatically right for every single axle that ever wore an MFS12 tag.
Bottom line: this fixes wander, clunk over bumps, and oval-worn pin bores. It does not fix bad wheel bearings or a bent axle beam — check those while you've got it apart, because you're already in there.

Seal size matters too — MFS12 seals aren't interchangeable with the MFS13's larger diameter seal.
