Fits the 388, 389, 367, and 567 chassis - Peterbilt kept the mounting and wiring layout consistent across these models for a good stretch of years.
Housing bolts into the factory location, connector plugs into your existing harness, no splicing needed if your truck's wiring is stock. If someone's already rewired the front end with aftermarket relays or a different harness setup, that's on you to sort out - we sell the light, not a custom wiring job.
Why These Numbers Cross
P54-6101-110 and P54-1059-100 are Peterbilt's own part numbers depending on model year and options package - the 6101 and 1059 series both point to the same driver-side headlight bucket, just different superseded revisions as Peterbilt updated the assembly. 88116 and 31383 are aftermarket catalog numbers other suppliers use for the same physical part - same mounting bolt pattern, same connector, same halo ring output.
Where it gets sideways: some 388/389 trucks left the factory with a projector-style headlight and others got a reflector-style unit before LED became standard equipment. If your truck has the older reflector housing, this projector unit won't just bolt in and look right - the beam pattern and mounting boss can differ. Also check if you've got a passenger-side halo or amber turn signal variant, because mixing driver and passenger units happens more than you'd think when parts get boxed wrong at the counter.
Surest way to confirm: pull the number off your old headlight housing (usually stamped or on a sticker on the back) or run your VIN. Don't guess off the model year alone - 388 and 389 production overlapped with running changes mid-year that swapped headlight style without any other visible difference.
